On June 20th to 22nd 2023, iRadar was pleased to host the representative from Aimil Ltd, India who interested to learn more about our award- winning Ground-Based Synthetic Aperture Radar (GBSAR) system.
The CTO of iRadar, Ir. Dr. Chan Yee Kit, and Technical Manager, Dr. Tam Tze Huey together with the technical team of GoEnvi hosted the 3-day visit and training program for our guests who travelled all the way from India. The program started with the tour to our modest office in Ayer Keroh, Melaka and a brief session to introduce more about iRadar’s GBSAR. GBSAR is the solution for continuous monitoring of surface deformations of earth environments and man-made structures, performed at a rapid scanning rate for instant risk assessment and consequently contributed to the construction of a hazard management early warning system. Following a 3-day on-site training, the team from India learned more about how GBSAR might monitor the landslide-prone areas to ensure personnel and equipment safety, as well as operational efficiency.
"The right monitoring solution for identifying and forecasting hazards is essential for open-pit mining. The need for reliable data to ensure employee safety and operational efficiency is a sustainable way forward," Ir. Dr. Chan shared.
GBSAR, enables open-pit mining operators to work in a safer manner than manual monitoring. Real-time monitoring saves time spent in the field gathering information due to its quick setup and scanning time, resulting in faster decision-making.
